How I Work with Clients

I structure each program to the client’s specific needs and work with all levels from the C-suite to the frontlines, offering half and full day communications institutes, leadership training in which participants learn and practice strategies that they can bring back to their teams, as well as targeted one-on-one sessions. I also do keynote presentations, seminars and workshops.

Each program and/or presentation includes a comprehensive Digital Resources Package with notes and highlights, video tutorials, practice modules, articles, and other resources for reinforced and continued learning.

The process begins with a conversation. I walk potential new clients through a series of questions to determine how best I can serve them. Then, I submit a detailed written proposal, that typically includes a range of different options and price points.

I believe that trust must be earned. I can give a client confidence in what we’ll accomplish together but trust is achieved over time with each successful deliverable. For clients that wish to start out slowly so they can see for themselves the impact of what I bring before committing to a larger scope of services, I offer introductory rates or contracts that unfold in stages.

I also do communications assessments and consulting, helping clients identify their organization’s communication strengths and challenges, providing tailored solutions that encompass customized presentations, trainings and other forms of professional development. Some things you should know about me:

  • I work hard to exceed expectations
  • I never look at why something can’t be done, only how it can and build from there.
  • I’m a communicator. I return calls and emails promptly, follow-up consistently, and am always open, honest and direct.
  • I’m accessible. My clients have my cell phone number and they know that they can reach me.
  • I don’t use projectors or power points. I connect on a human level with audiences/clients, activating their engagement then provide follow-up materials.
