Jodee has a rare dual expertise in PR/communications and anti-bullying, having built successful careers in both fields.
She owned a company that did communications consulting for the entertainment and publishing industries for almost two decades and worked with every level of leadership including the C-suite and their teams as well as A-list talent many of whom were household names. She gave her clients the tools to express themselves with grace and integrity under pressure.
Jodee also taught at her alma mater New York University and The University of Chicago where she trained other communications professionals on how to bring that same skill set to their own practices. Jodee’s clients entrusted her with everything from crisis, reputation, and change management to internal communications, publicity and PR. A select list of clients and projects is available upon request.
Jodee took a brief sabbatical to pen a memoir of her adolescence entitled Please Stop Laughing at Me… never expecting that it would become an overnight New York Times bestseller and establish her as the first voice of the anti-bullying movement. The need it exposed was so urgent that Jodee pivoted to activism, combining her communications/PR background and her experiences as a bullying survivor to bring change to America’s schools.
After two decades dedicated to catalyzing the anti-bullying movement, transforming hundreds of schools and impacting countless lives, Jodee is now leveraging her expertise to create a seismic shift in corporate communications with the same game-changing results.
